Oceanpick and the Sri Lanka Navy Unite for a Cleaner Future

Cod Bay Harbour

27 March 2025

The momentum continues to build at Cod-bay Harbour, where Oceanpick is leading the charge to make it Sri Lanka’s first plastic-free harbor. On March 27, 2025, we proudly completed the second cleanup operation, expanding our impact with the support of the Sri Lanka Navy, who have now committed to joining us every month.

This milestone marks more than just another cleanup—it signals a growing alliance and a shared vision for a harbor free from plastic pollution. Together with the Cod-bay Harbour Corporation, local stakeholders, and now the Navy, Oceanpick is creating a blueprint for sustainable marine operations.

Every cleanup is tracked meticulously, feeding into our long-term sustainability metrics and ESG reporting. With each step, we are not only removing waste—we’re restoring ecosystems, reshaping behaviors, and redefining what a responsible harbor can look like.
