Plastic-Free Fisheries Harbor Continued Cleanup
Oceanpick continued the Plastic-Free Harbor series with CFHC and SLNS Mahaweli, collecting and sending 9 kg to NRC. By this stage, the program had become more than a single event, it was a routine that kept pressure on the problem. These smaller but consistent collections often reflect real progress: as hotspots reduce, the amount gathered can drop, showing that repeated action is helping prevent new buildup. The continued presence also encourages better habits, people begin to think twice before tossing bottles into corners or drains when they know cleanups, segregation, and proper collection are active and visible.
