On World Ocean Day 2026, Oceanpick partnered with the Department of Forest Conservation Trincomalee, Norlanka (Pvt) Ltd, and Trinco Timber & Hardware (Pvt) Ltd to host a special ocean conservation awareness and beach cleanup session at Trinco Beach.

The event brought together nearly 150 students and other participants, going beyond waste removal to inspire the next generation of ocean stewards by helping young minds understand why our oceans matter, and why each of us has a role in protecting them.
